Abstract

En un ejemplo de implementación, es posible proveer las comunicaciones entre una herramienta de adquisición de registros de fondo de pozo y el subsistema informático superficial mediante un cable que incluye uno o más conductores eléctricos. A los efectos de hacer posible la transmisión de múltiples canales de datos a través de un único cable multiconductor, es posible dividir los datos en dos o más canales distintos y transmitir cada canal de datos a través de los conductores. Debido a la longitud del cable, los conductores eléctricos del cable se pueden someter a acoplamiento capacitivo e inductivo fuerte. A raíz de este acoplamiento, las señales enviadas al fondo de pozo a través de cualesquiera dos conductores arbitrarios pueden ser susceptibles a distorsión y pueden producir importante "diafonía" en los demás conductores. Es posible reducir los efectos de la diafonía de varias formas, por ejemplo, mediante descomposición QR.
