Abstract
Esta solicitud se dirige a métodos de evaluación de deposición de polímeros en superficies dentales usando espectroscopia de infrarrojo cercano, proporcionando un método rápido y eficiente para el cribado e identificación de polímeros óptimos para su uso en formulaciones del cuidado oral, (i) se mide la absorción en infrarrojo cercano (IR) de un sustrato dental en ausencia de un polímero bajo prueba, y posteriormente de la muestra de prueba que comprende el sustrato dental se pone en contacto con el polímero de prueba. Después de lavar o enjuagar la muestra de prueba cerca del IR de este, se determina de nuevo (iii). También se mide la absorción IR del polímero de prueba por sí mismo (ii). A través de la comparación de las tres mediciones (i), (ii), y (iii), se determina el grado de deposición y retención del polímero de prueba en la muestra de prueba.
