Abstract

Un mecanismo de cierre para las mitades de molde (5) de una máquina I.S. se compone de dos portamoldes (3, 4) con forma de yugo apoyados sobre guías (1, 2) paralelas una a otra y desplazables a lo largo de estas entre una posición de cierre y una posición de apertura mediante un accionamiento. Lateralmente con respecto a la guía (1), extendiéndose paralelo a esta está previsto un engranaje de husillo (13) compuesto por un husillo roscado que está unido al accionamiento mediante un engranaje (15) y que engrana con dos manguitos roscados, que en cada caso están unidos a uno de los dos portamoldes (3, 4), mediante secciones roscadas en sentidos opuestos para constituir un movimiento de apertura, respectivamente de cierre, de los portamoldes (3, 4). Mediante el accionamiento, un servomotor, se produce el movimiento de apertura y cierre de los portamoldes (3, 4), estando previstas para la aplicación de la fuerza tensora necesaria entre los portamoldes (3, 4), respectivamente las mitades de molde (5), en la posición de cierre dos unidades de émbolo-cilindro (22) accionables neumáticamente que también están unidas a los portamoldes (3, 4) mediante mecanismos de palanca acodada dispuestos entremedio. Para el mecanismo de cierre resulta una disposición constructivamente sencilla y fiable que debido a una red de refrigerante integrada al menos a los portamoldes (3, 4) también está libre de deformaciones térmicas.
