Abstract
Un método para controlar la circulación de gas en un proceso de flotación mineral en un sistema que comprende una o más unidad(es) de celda de flotación con un aparato que comprende un circuito de recirculación de gas, un sistema de descarga que comprende una tubería de expulsión (81) para conectar el lado de presión (28) del circuito de recirculación de gas con la atmósfera y una tubería de succión (82, 84) que comprende un dispositivo de cierre de agua (83), o un medio, que no sean un dispositivo de cierre de agua, para limitar el flujo de gas y evitar el flujo de retorno del gas sin purificar a la atmósfera, para conectar la tubería de succión del circuito de recirculación de gas con la atmósfera, donde el método comprende suministrar una gas de flotación desde el circuito de recirculación de gas a cada una de las unidades de celda de flotación; expulsar una parte del gas de flotación desde el lado de presión del circuito de recirculación de gas vía la tubería de expulsión; permitir que el gas sea retirado en el lado de succión del circuito de recirculación de gas a través de la tubería de succión, proporcionando de este modo una baja presión a dicho lado de succión del circuito de recirculación de gas y la(s) unidad(es) de celda de flotación; y recolectar el gas de flotación desde la(s) separación(es) delantera(s) de la(s) unidad(es) de celda de flotación sellada y recircular el gas de flotación recolectado de retorno a las unidades de celda de flotación vía el circuito de recirculación de gas.
