Abstract
Los sistemas de recubrimiento de material compuesto de vidrio en la presente se pueden usar para aplicaciones industriales que sirven como una barrera química contra la oxidación del substrato u otro deterioro por agentes corrosivos, pueden impedir la acumulación de material en la tubería y equipo de proceso, pueden proporcionar resistencia de unión mejorada entre el concreto y el medio de refuerzo, y pueden inhibir la acumulación microbiana sobre las superficies expuestas. Tradicionalmente, los recubrimientos de vidrio se sitúan sobre superficies preparadas, relativamente puras.
