Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una difusión satelital de televisión de paga que incluye datos de validación que se pueden usar para validar la autenticidad de los datos de sistema de posicionamiento global en tiempo real (GPS). Los datos de validación pueden ser incluidos dentro de mensajes de autorización y encriptados para la seguridad y la recepción selectiva por los receptores autorizados. Un sistema de navegación puede calcular sumas de verificación de los datos del GPS en tiempo real recibidos y compararlos con los datos de validación para una coincidencia.
