Abstract

The present invention relates to an innovative, ecological, economical and accessible system for the collection of rainwater for commercial or domestic use, which captures the rainwater that falls directly towards the ground. Said system consists of a container formed by a waterproof material integrated into the floor or subsoil with a slope in its base that leads the water contained to pipes connected therein. The pipes transport the water into a cistern or storage tank with registration covers and an inner wall with a mesh of antioxidant material that prevents the passage of sediments and impurities. Additionally, the container possesses filling layers of porous or permeable material, which serves as a filtration and support means, and on which a permeable rigid layer rests; its upper base is outside the system and serves as a bearing surface or pedestrian walker, depending on the case of its application.
