Abstract

El objetivo de la presente descripción es proponer la gestión de la transmisión de canales para un receptor Híbrido capaz de recibir la transmisión de emisión o transmisión IP. Se propone un método para optimizar la transmisión de un conjunto de canales de televisión hacia al menos un dispositivo de recepción que tiene un identificador de dispositivo, teniendo dicho dispositivo de recepción al menos un medio de comunicación de emisión y un medio de comunicación IP, comprendiendo este método las etapas de: - seleccionar mediante un dispositivo de recepción un canal que tenga un identificador de canal recibido a través de ya sea, el medio de comunicación de emisión desde un centro de transmisión de emisión o el medio de comunicación IP desde un centro de transmisión IP, - transmitir mediante el dispositivo de recepción hacia un centro de control un mensaje de estado que comprende al menos el canal seleccionado, - recibir, mediante el centro de control, los mensajes de estado de una pluralidad de dispositivos de recepción, - calcular mediante el centro de control, a partir de los mensajes de estado, un costo por canal en base a al menos el número de dispositivos de recepción que tienen seleccionado dicho canal, - asignar los canales que tienen el costo más alto al centro de transmisión de emisión y asignar los otros canales al centro de transmisión IP, - transmitir un mensaje de respuesta a los dispositivos de recepción que comprenden una lista de asignación que describe para cada canal, a qué medios de comunicación se asignó dicho canal.
