Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición carbonada gelificada que forma un gel monolítico polimérico orgánico apto para formar un aerogel por secado, a los usos y a un proceso para la preparación de esta composición carbonada. La presente invención se aplica, en especial, a la obtención de tales geles, que presentan una densidad y una conductividad térmica muy débil, una superficie específica muy elevada y resistencia satisfactoria a la compresión, para que se les utilice como superaislantes térmicos o como precursores de electrodos carbonados de supercondensadores. Una composición que obedece a la presente invención comprende una resina proveniente, por lo menos en parte, de polihidroxibencenos H y de formaldehido(s) F, comprendiendo los mencionados polihidroxibencenos, cuando menos un, polihidroxibenceno no sustituido con R y, cuando menos un, polihidroxibenceno sustituido por un grupo alquilo o por más de uno. Esta composición es tal que los mencionados polihidroxibencenos comprenden muchos de los mencionados polihidroxibencenos no sustituidos con R y R´ y porque la composición comprende un polielectrólito catiónico hidrosoluble P.
