Abstract

Se proporcionan sistemas, métodos y aparatos para la obtención de imágenes de tomografía por inducción magnética de un espécimen, tal como un espécimen de tejido humano, mediante el uso de una única bobina. Una pluralidad de mediciones de las propiedades de la bobina puede obtenerse usando una única bobina en una de una pluralidad de localizaciones separadas con relación a un espécimen. La bobina única puede diseñarse para colocarse relativamente fácil en muchas posiciones/orientaciones diferentes con relación al espécimen. Un mapa tridimensional de la propiedad electromagnética, tal como un mapa de conductividad tridimensional o un mapa de permitividad tridimensional, puede generarse a partir de la pluralidad de mediciones de las propiedades de la bobina obtenidas usando la bobina única accediendo a un modelo que correlaciona las mediciones de las propiedades de la bobina obtenidas por una única bobina con una distribución de la propiedad electromagnética del espécimen.
