Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un sistema para determinar las características de un fluido de fases múltiples que incluye un tubo y pares múltiples de transductores colocados circunferencialmente alrededor del tubo. Cada par de transductores incluye un transductor de transmisión y un transductor de recepción. El transductor de transmisión de cada par de transductores está orientado para transmitir una señal acústica respectiva hacia el transductor de recepción del par de transductores. El transductor de transmisión de cada par de transductores es operable para transmitir la señal acústica respectiva secuencialmente con respecto al otro de los transductores de transmisión de los pares múltiples de transductores. Una recepción de una primera señal acústica transmitida por un transductor de transmisión de un primer par de transductores de los pares múltiples de transductores se complementa por un transductor de recepción del primer par de transductores antes de que un transductor de transmisión del otro par de transductores de los pares múltiples de los transductores transmite una segunda señal acústica.
