Abstract

La presente invención proporciona una composición herbicida estable a bajas temperaturas que comprende ácido 2-amino-4-[hidroxi(metil)fosfinoil]butírico, sus sales, sus isómeros, mezcla de isómeros, derivados o sus ésteres de alquilo inferiores o sales de los mismos con ácidos o bases, N-óxido de (C8-C20)alquildimetilamina y una sal de amonio inorgánica. También se proporciona un proceso para preparar la composición mezclando dicho ingrediente activo en un recipiente de fórmula con agua y disolvente seguido de la adición de una cantidad calculada de N-óxido de (C8-C20)alquildimetilamina y sal de amonio inorgánica, y si se requiere además adyuvantes, disolventes u otros componentes habituales tales como agente humectante, agente de coloración o antiespumante seguido por la homogeneización de la mezcla resultante para obtener una solución clara. Un método para controlar las malas hierbas aplicando la composición de la presente invención así como un producto herbicida en empaque múltiple que comprende la composición está dentro del alcance de la presente invención.
