Abstract

Esta invención se refiere a un sensor de posición solar que hace posible la lectura de dirección de la radiación solar directa para conocer la posición del Sol en el horizonte y ser usado en dispositivos donde esta aplicación se requiera, como lo es un seguidor solar para optimizar la captación de energía gracias a la orientación correcta del ángulo de incidencia perpendicular al plano de captación solar. Este sensor es un componente esencial de un sistema de seguidor solar pudiendo ser de uno o dos ejes para poder aprovechar de manera óptima la energía orientando los dispositivos a recibir la radiación solar directa implementándose en el campo de energía renovable, como en el de energía solar, beneficiando a los sistemas fotovoltaicos y concentradores solares para que de esta manera aumenten su eficiencia, rendimiento y captación siendo instalados en una estructura capaz de moverse por sí sola comandada por el sensor.
