Abstract
The present disclosure is related to a solar position sensor making possible to read the direction of direct solar radiation to determine the position of the sun in the horizon and to be used in devices where this application is required, as it may be a solar tracker to optimize energy collection thanks to the correct orientation of the incidence angle perpendicular to the solar capture plane. This sensor is an essential component of a solar tracking system and can be of one or two axes to take advantage of energy optimally, directing the devices to receive the direct solar radiation implementing the invention in the field of renewable energy, such as the solar energy benefiting photovoltaic systems and solar concentrators in order to increase their efficiency, performance and uptake being installed in a structure capable of moving by itself and commanded by the sensor.
