Abstract
Un cable plano de bajada tiene muescas u otras estructuras para mejorar la capacidad de remoción de forro, del forro de un núcleo del cable plano de bajada. Las muescas pueden tener una configuración inclinada con superficies que convergen conforme se extiende la muesca en el forro. Por ejemplo, las muescas pueden estar desplazadas de un eje menor del cable plano de bajada una distancia suficiente de tal forma que las muescas se colocan fuera de una región de límite central que se extiende tangente a los lados del núcleo y paralelas al eje menor del cable plano de bajada.
