Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a composiciones, preferentemente composiciones nutricionales, preferentemente, para la nutrición de bebés, niños, materna, de cuidado en el envejecimiento, de ancianos o de cuidado de la salud. La presente invención se refiere, además, a composiciones farmacéuticas y/o nutracéuticas. Las composiciones de la invención descritas en la presente descripción tienen, preferentemente, un pH neutro o ácido, preferentemente, un pH que varía de aproximadamente 3 a aproximadamente 7.5, dichas composiciones están fortificadas con una concentración alta de sacarato férrico y una concentración alta de ácidos grasos poliinsaturados de cadena larga microencapsulados (LC- PUFA), preferentemente, microencapsulados en una matriz vítrea de proteínas lácteas y glucosa. Preferentemente, la composición de la invención comprende, además, un antioxidante que es un depurador de radicales, preferentemente, junto con un aceite no sensible, dicho aceite comprende con la máxima preferencia, triglicéridos de cadena media. La presente invención describe, además, un método para preparar tales composiciones y el uso de tales composiciones, preferentemente, en el tratamiento de enfermedades, como se define en la presente descripción.
