Abstract
Se proporcionan métodos y sistemas para inyectar aire desde una fuente de aire comprimido en un puerto de admisión de un motor de ciclo Miller. En un ejemplo, un método puede comprender posicionar una válvula de admisión, acopIada a un cilindro de un motor de combustión interna de cuatro ciclos, en una posición abierta durante una parte de una carrera de admisión a través de una parte de una carrera de compresión de un pistón que corresponde a dicho cilindro. El método puede comprender además suministrar aire a dicha válvula de admisión desde una primera fuente, e inyectar aire contra dicha válvula de admisión desde una segunda fuente mientras dicha válvula de admisión está abierta durante dicha carrera de compresión.
