Abstract
Se describe un sistema de guía o pauta de daño cerebral traumático ("TBI") que emplea un sensor de monitoreo de paciente (30) y un dispositivo de monitoreo de paciente (10). En operación, el sensor de monitoreo de paciente (30) genera datos para monitorizar un parámetro de TBI de un paciente (por ejemplo, la presión sanguínea sistólica, la. saturación de oxígeno sanguíneo o la exhalación de dióxido de carbono del paciente), y el dispositivo monitor de paciente (10) genera un indicador de TBI derivado de una comparación del dato paramétrico de TBI al dato de guía paramétrica asociada con un TBI potencial del paciente. El dispositivo de monitoreo de paciente (10) puede incluir un módulo de monitor de datos del paciente (17a) para monitorizar los datos paramétricos de TBI, y un módulo monitor de TBI (17b) para generar el indicador de TBI.
