Abstract

En la presente se describen aparatos, procesos y sistemas para determinar las características determinantes de una tela de fabricación de papel. Dichos aparatos, procesos y sistemas utilizan una representación de una porción de una superficie de la tela, con la representación que muestra las ubicaciones y los tamaños de los nudos y las bolsas en la superficie de la tela. Una imagen de la porción de la tela se genera con base en la representación. Usando la imagen visualizada, se traza un contorno alrededor de al menos uno de los nudos, y las guías se trazan de manera que dichas guías pasan a través del centro del nudo contorneado, pasan a través de otros nudos y formen una forma que rodea las áreas de la imagen que corresponde a donde se han formado las bolsas entre los nudos. Con las guías y el nudo contorneado, pueden calcularse las propiedades que afectan la funcionalidad de la fabricación de papel de la tela.
