Abstract

The invention relates to a device called Self-loading Semi Trailer of High Safety, Economy and Capacity that has the purpose of achieving a high safety of operation of the vehicle, people and third party vehicles during the travel thereof through streets, roads and highways. The invention, due to its characteristics, seeks to have a great economy of operation, for this purpose the invention having, in one of its two shafts, a device which enables the lifting of the same with respect to the floor. This device prevents the tires, brakes, bearings and latches from wearing upon not being rolled. The elevation of the first load axis is performed by the driver from the cabin of the tractor, and with the vehicle in motion or stopped. The invention is provided with an electromagnetic retarder on the second axis. This equipment is actuated by the driver of the tractor from the cabin of the same. This device and its location on the rear axis of the semi-trailer prevent an embodiment of an accid ent, world widely known as the scissors, from occurring. Another embodiment of the present invention refers to a safety device or stabilizer in the curves, consisting of a pneumatic orbitrol valve located and synchronized with the rotation of the steering wheel of the tractor. In the economical aspect, the operation of the invention is more cost effective, since it performs the operations of self-loading and self-discharge of an ISO 40Î DRY CARGO container or 53 feet without having to use additional ancillary machines. The invention is more cost effective, since it prevents the wear of the tires on the return travel of the empty trailer, as it comprises a device for lifting the first axis. This invention is more economic in the operation thereof, since it has auxiliary tanks of compressed natural gas, this fuel feeding the dual fuel injection engine of the tractor, this fuel generating a less polluting operation of the tractor and more affordable operation as this fuel is more abundan t and affordable than diesel or gasoil. The invention is of large capacity, as it can store an ISO dry cargo container of 40 feet and up to 53 feet, and in the high cube and super-high cube embodiment storing a container of up to 102 inch of width. The trailer may travel with the maximum load authorized by European, American and Asiatic authorities.
