Abstract

Se describen métodos de estimulación de recuperación incrementada de petróleo de una formación petrolífera en post- producción de petróleo pesado en frío con arena ("CHOPS"). La invención se refiere a un método de estimulación de recuperación de petróleo de una formación petrolífera en post-producción de petróleo pesado en frío con arena (CHOPS). El método opcionalmente enjuaga un pozo en una formación petrolífera post-CHOPS que tiene por lo menos un agujero de gusano para expulsar agua del pozo y la región cerca del pozo; entonces se inyecta un siliciuro de metal alcalino en la formación petrolífera post-CHOPS vía un pozo para introducir el siliciuro de metal alcalino en por lo menos un agujero de gusano dentro de la formación petrolífera post-CHOPS. El paso de inyección es seguido por la reacción del siliciuro de metal alcalino inyectado para estimular el flujo de petróleo dentro de la formación petrolífera post-CHOPS; y recuperar petróleo de la formación petrolífera post-CHOPS. La dispersión de siliciuro de metal alcalino puede inyectarse también en la formación en un modo cíclico de periodos alternantes de inyección, mojado y producción.
