Abstract
Un sistema de codificación codifica múltiples señales de audio (X) como una señal de mezcla descendente (Y) junto con coeficientes de mezcla ascendente húmeda y seca (P,C). En un sistema de decodificación, un premultiplicador (101) calcula una señal intermedia ( W ) al mapear la señal de mezcla descendente de forma lineal de acuerdo con un primer conjunto de coeficientes (Q); una señal de descorrelación (102) emite una señal descorrelacionada ( Z ) basada en la señal intermedia; una sección de mezcla ascendente húmeda (103) calcula una señal de mezcla ascendente húmeda al mapear la señal descorrelacionada de forma lineal de acuerdo con los coeficientes de mezcla ascendente húmeda; una sección de mezcla ascendente seca (104) calcula una señal de mezcla ascendente seca, mediante el mapeo de forma lineal de la señal de mezcla descendente de acuerdo con los coeficientes de mezcla ascendente seca; una sección de combinación (105) proporciona una señal reconstruida multidimensional (X) al combinar las señales de mezcla ascendente húmeda y seca; y un convertidor (106) calcula el primer conjunto de coeficientes en función de los coeficientes de mezcla ascendente húmeda y seca y le suministra esto al premultiplicador.
