Abstract
Un aparato configurado para codificar información de video incluye una unidad de memoria y un procesador en comunicación con la unidad de memoria; la unidad de memoria está configurada para almacenar información de video asociada con una capa de referencia (RL) y una capa de mejoramiento (EL), la RL tiene una imagen RL en una primera unidad de acceso, y la EL tiene una primera imagen EL en la primera unidad de acceso, en donde la primea imagen EL está asociada con un primer conjunto de parámetros; el procesador está configurado para determinar si la primera imagen EL es una imagen de punto de acceso intra-aleatorio (IRAP), determinar si la primera unidad de acceso sigue inmediatamente un punto de empalme donde la primera información de video es unida con la segunda información de video incluyendo la primera imagen EL, y ejecutar, con base en la determinación respecto a si la primera imagen EL es una imagen de punto de acceso intra-aleatorio (IRAP) y si la primera unidad de acceso sigue inmediatamente un punto de empalme, uno de (1) abstenerse de asociar la primera imagen EL con un segundo conjunto de parámetros que es diferente del primer conjunto de parámetros, o (2) asociar la primera imagen EL con un segundo conjunto de parámetros que es diferente del primer conjunto de parámetros; el procesador puede codificar o decodificar la información de video.
