Abstract

Sistemas y métodos para asegurar una comunicación dentro de un punto final de una red, por ejemplo, un medidor. El medidor puede incluir un módulo de comunicación y un módulo de metrología en donde los módulos son conectados a través de una vía de comunicación que es externa a ambos módulos. Los módulos intercambian una clave de emparejamiento para establecer un canal de comunicación emparejado. Cuando el módulo de comunicación recibe una comunicación a través de una red para establecer un canal seguro al punto final, el módulo de comunicación envía algunos o todos los datos de seguridad al módulo de metrología para establecer una comunicación segura desde un sistema de cabecera a través del módulo de comunicación al módulo de metrología.
