Abstract
Se proporciona un método y dispositivo para identificación de región en la descripción. El método incluye: binarizar una región de palabra, para obtener la región de palabra binarizada, en donde la región de palabra incluye diversas palabras que pertenecen a una misma fila; calcular un histograma en una dirección vertical para la región de palabra binarizada, en donde el histograma incluye abscisas de pixeles en cada columna y un valor acumulado de pixeles de color de primer plano de los pixeles en cada columna; e identificar una región de carácter de cada una de las palabras en la región de palabra, de acuerdo con la información de distribución de valores acumulados en el histograma. La descripción puede resolver el echo en las técnicas relacionadas de que la precisión de la ubicación de región de carácter es relativamente baja y puede obtener un efecto de que la región de carácter de cada palabra puede ubicarse de forma precisa de acuerdo con la información de distribución de valores acumulados de los pixeles de color de primer plano en el histograma.
