Abstract
Se proveen métodos de supresión de la corrosión de una superficie de metal corrosible que entra en contacto con una corriente de agua en un sistema fluvial, el método comprendiendo: (a) introducir en la corriente de agua una dosis por disparo de una composición de tratamiento que comprende un inhibidor de corrosión, la dosis por disparo siendo introducida en la corriente de agua durante un primer período, y la corriente de agua teniendo una primera concentración de inhibidor de corrosión durante el primer período; (b) reducir entonces la cantidad de composición de tratamiento que es introducida en la corriente de agua; y (c) después del primer período, mantener una segunda concentración de inhibidor de corrosión en la corriente de agua durante un segundo período, la segunda concentración siendo menos de 25% de la concentración de inhibidor de corrosión durante el primer período; se provee también, después del segundo período, introducir en la corriente de agua una segunda dosis por disparo del inhibidor de corrosión, la segunda dosis por disparo siendo introducida en la corriente de agua durante un tercer período, la tercera concentración siendo mayor que la segunda concentración.
