Abstract

Los aspectos de la presente invención se refieren a una cabeza de colocación de tren de laminación. La cabeza de colocación de tren de laminación (22) comprende un manguito (24) rotatorio alrededor de un eje central (X), dicho manguito (24) está equipado con una vía de guía (26) configurada y acomodada para formar un producto que se mueve longitudinalmente al interior de una serie continua de anillos; una estructura de soporte estacionaria (28); y cojinetes radiales espaciados axialmente (30, 32) que soportan dicho manguito (24) para rotación alrededor de dicho eje (X), uno de dichos cojinetes (32) comprende un cojinete de película de aceite hidrostático que tiene un diámetro interno de al menos unos 500 mm, y que tiene una relación L/D menor que 0.25.
