Water Treatment By Electricity Or Magnetism
(AREA)
Abstract
The present disclosure is related to a pilot facility to produce alkaline water by the combination of a chemical method and alkaline electrolysis. The alkaline water production system considers a commercial electrolyzed water production technology that already exists on the market, consisting of an ionizer that carries positive and negative electrodes, which can be fed with tap water to operate, by dividing the water minerals inside through a membrane, producing alkaline water on one side of said membrane and acid minerals from the water on the other side, and for another type of use. In the implementation of the present invention, a chemical method is included and consists in the addition of salts directly to a purified water flow to produce alkaline water which is combined with the electrolyzed water. The water produced by these kind of technologies is disinfected exposing the same to ultraviolet light for a later packaging, and to a physical-chemical and sensorial evaluation.
