Abstract

The present disclosure is related to the Boron removal contained in water for agricultural use and human consumption, by superparamagnetic reverse ferrite obtained by a chemical medium. The superparamagnetic reverse ferrites have a size smaller than 7 nm and a high surface area of 170m2/g to help in the Boron removal. These superparamagnetic reverse ferrites are mixed with Boron contaminated water with a concentration higher than 9000 mg/l, the stirring process performed through a mechanical stirrer, an ultrasound system and Neodymium and Boron magnets by a pneumatic system to attract the superparamagnetic reverse ferrites.
