Abstract

Se pueden utilizar sensores de flujo óptico difuso (DOF) para valorar flujo de tejido profundo. Sensores DOF colocados sobre un pie pueden proporcionar datos de intensidad de luz fluctuante as un analizador, el cual entonces puede determinar el flujo sanguíneo absoluto y/o relativo. El flujo sanguíneo absoluto y/o relativo determinado puede ser señalizado a un operador, por ejemplo un cirujano para uso intra-operativo. Los sensores DOF pueden ser utilizados para valorar la revascularización del pedio, por ejemplo para guiar los procedimientos de intervención y para evaluar su eficacia. Una estructura de soporte puede llevar una pluralidad de sensores DPF, de manera que cuando la estructura de soporte es colocada sobre el pie de un paciente, los sensores DOF quedan colocados adyacentes a diferentes ubicaciones en el pie. Las diferentes ubicaci9ones pueden corresponder a diferentes ubicaciones pueden corresponder a diferentes tipográficas del pie, por ejemplo diferentes angiosomas del pedio.
