Abstract

The present disclosure is related to an operating method and device for a test bench in fuel electric pumps for automotive application, comprising: An operating method characterized by 11 stages, a device and an application for evaluating electric fuel pumps. The invention is constituted by a hydraulic cabinet (1), an electric cabinet (3), a reservoir for the test fluid (2). The test bench device can operate automatically or manually, having the advantage of being portable and having 2 electric power supply modes. The tests are performed and based on the pressure and voltage parameters modification that are applied to the pump which is being tested and the changes are controlled by a parameterized profile in case of an automatic test, or designated by the operator in turn in case of a manual test. The data collected during the test is compared with reference values throwing an approval result if the values obtained are within the range and not otherwise.
