Abstract
Un método para procesar una señal digital incluye: recibir una pluralidad de unidades de datos de protocolo, cada una que tiene un encabezamiento que incluye una pluralidad de bits de palabra de control; y una pluralidad de tramas de audio, cada una que incluye un código de chequeo de redundancia cíclica, que decodifica las unidades de datos de protocolo que usan una técnica de decodificación iterativa, en donde la técnica de decodificación iterativa usa un algoritmo de decodificación de salida suave para iteraciones después de la primera iteración; y usar códigos de chequeo de redundancia cíclicos decodificados para etiquetar las tramas de audio que contienen errores. Se proporciona también un receptor que implementa el método.
