Abstract

Se proporcionan métodos y composiciones de cemento que utilizan fibras de poliolefina tratadas para la pérdida de circulación y/o la mejora de las propiedades mecánicas. Se describe un método que comprende: proporcionar una composición de cemento que comprende: un cemento hidráulico, agua y fibras de poliolefina tratadas con forma de barra y que tienen una longitud en un intervalo de aproximadamente 0,0625 pulgadas a aproximadamente 0,25 pulgadas, donde las fibras de poliolefina tratadas se trataron con un tensioactivo para hacer a las fibras de poliolefina tratadas hidrofílicas, colocar la composición de cemento en una ubicación seleccionada y permitir que la composición de cemento fragüe.
