Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una operación mejorada de inyección de recuperación de petróleo (EOR) en un yacimiento de petróleo que tiene un reservorio el cual puede incluir obtener escenarios de EOR que cada uno incluye un agente químico, obtener una imagen sólida porosa tri-dimensional (3D) de una muestra de núcleo, y generar un modelo a escala de poro 3D a partir de una imagen sólida porosa 3D. La muestra de núcleo es un medio poroso 3D que representa una porción del yacimiento de petróleo. El modelo a escala de poro 3D describe una estructura de poro físico en el medio poroso 3D. Las simulaciones se realizan usando los escenarios 3D para obtener resultados de simulación mediante, para cada escenario de EOR, simular, en el primer modelo a escala de poro 3D, la operación de inyección de EOR usando el agente químico especificado por el escenario de EOR para generar un resultado de simulación. Se realiza un análisis comparativo para los resultados de simulación para obtener un agente químico seleccionado. Además, se realiza una operación usando el agente químico seleccionado.
