Abstract
Un método y aparato para limpiar y reciclar gas de chimenea a partir de plantas de energía caldeadas por carbón, a partir de plantas de calefacción de quema de gas natural y de propano, o a partir de hornos de cemento al utilizar catalizadores renovables de zeolita para separar contaminantes en materiales reciclables y reutilizables. El método reduce del gas de chimenea monóxido de carbono (CO), dióxido de carbono (CO2), óxido de nitrógeno (NOx), óxido de azufre (SOs), así como halógenos tales como cloruro y fluoruros y metales traza, particularmente, mercurio, plomo y zinc. Compuestos de bauxita también pueden recolectarse por separado si se desea. El método y aparato también resultan en la producción de productos fertilizantes al purgar con nitrógeno gaseoso o líquido de los lechos de zeolita a través de los cuales fluye el gas de chimenea.
