Abstract

El objeto de la presente invención es un método de monitoreo de un sitio de recuperación de hidrocarburos (HC) no convencionales que permite cuantificar los hidrocarburos presentes en zonas por arriba (Zsur) de las zonas de exploración y desarrollo (Zhc). El método de conformidad con la invención se basa en el ajuste de un modelo que describe la concentración de gas como función del tiempo, empleando análisis geoquímicos in situ de gases raros y, cuando sea apropiado, de gas inyectado utilizado para fracturación, contenido en fases fluidas de muestras del subsuelo. Por medio del análisis de gases raros, el método de conformidad con la invención permite anticipar la fuga de hidrocarburos por arriba del sitio de exploración/desarrollo.
