Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición antibacteriana contra bacterias Gram positivas y Gram negativas, que contiene nanopartículas de plata (NPs Ag) con diámetro promedio de aproximadamente menor a 15 nm que poseen una superficie foto-catalíticamente inactiva, presentes en un rango de entre 8.5 y al 70% en peso respecto a la composición total, donde las NPs Ag son el agente antibacteriano que se mantiene homogéneamente expuesto por un agente de dispersión cerámico como el TiO2 y su actividad bactericida se genera en presencia de luz UV-visible y/o en la oscuridad.
