Abstract
Un proceso de purificación de una solución de agua líquida contaminado con metaloide que proporciona una disminución a niveles de concentración metaloide en la misma calificados como seguros para el consumo humano, por precipitación sin oxidación y sin calentamiento de agua líquida; el proceso comprende las siguientes etapas: inyectar un coagulante de hierro férrico; inyección de cal en la solución líquida; precipitar el metaloide; separar la suspensión resultante entre un líquido y una fase sólida; en donde se obtiene una solución de agua clarificada; en donde la fase líquida de la solución es recuperada económicamente, mientras se elimina la suspensión de fase sólida.
