Abstract
La presente invención describe un compuesto curvo a prueba de balas que tiene vidrio, vidrio-cerámica o cerámica flexible en la capa de cara de golpe con el fin de ser mecánicamente curvo durante un proceso de laminación a presión y bajo calor (temperatura). Los compuestos pueden hacerse de una o más capas de vidrio curveado por calor y gravedad, vidrio-cerámica o cerámica en una o más capas intermedias. Además, la presente invención describe un proceso para fabricar el vidrio de la presente invención, que comprende los siguientes pasos: a) dimensionar (cortar) vidrio o vidrio-cerámica en la capa de cara de golpe y capas intermedias a la geometría o forma del compuesto curvo a prueba de balas; b) ribetear acabado de vidrio, vidrio-cerámica o cerámica; c) curvear por medio de gravedad y temperatura las capas intermediarias de vidrio o vidrio-cerámica; d) realizar un proceso de intercambio de iones de uno o varios vidrios y/o vidrio-cerámica de la capa de cara de golpe y capas intermedias; e) pintar la raya negra usando pintura orgánica en la capa de cara de golpe y/o una o más de las capas intermedias; f) montar la capa de cara de golpe, capas, intermedias, materiales adhesivos y la capa plástica interna; y g) curvear mecánicamente durante la laminación de presión y calor la capa de cara de golpe, capas intermedias, materiales adhesivos y la capa plástica interna.
