Abstract
Un sistema adaptado para acondicionar una corriente inicial de alimentación de agua en una corriente de agua tratada y para descargar la corriente de agua tratada. La corriente de alimentación de agua inicial incluye al menos uno de: una pluralidad de partículas; un aceite; un compuesto orgánico volátil; un sulfuro de hidrógeno; un compuesto no volátil; un metal pesado; y, un ión disuelto. El sistema incluye un subsistema de eliminación de partículas y aceite, adaptado para el tratamiento de la corriente de alimentación inicial de agua para eliminar la pluralidad de partículas y el aceite para formar una primera corriente de agua tratada parcial, un subsistema de reducción de la demanda química de oxígeno adaptado para el tratamiento de la primera corriente de agua tratada parcial para eliminar el compuesto orgánico volátil, el sulfuro de hidrógeno y/o el compuesto orgánico no volátil para formar una segunda corriente de agua tratada parcial, y un subsistema de extracción de iones disueltos y un metal pesado adaptado para tratar la segunda corriente parcial de agua tratada para eliminar el metal pesado y el ión disuelto para formar una corriente de agua tratada.
