Abstract
Una artesa de colada pivotable (1) para la fundición continua de una aleación metálica. La artese de colada comprende un cuerpo (3) que comprende una primera cámara (5), una segunda cámara (7), un primer pasaje (12) entra la primera cámara y la segunda cámara, y un segundo pasaje (16) entre la segunda cámara y un molde (9). La primera cámara se adapta para recibir y contener un metal base que constituye la base para formar la aleación metálica mediante la adición de elementos de aleación. La aleación metálica se alimenta desde la segunda cámara hacia el molde a través del segundo pasaje. La segunda cámara comprende además una primera porción (30) y una segunda porción (32), y un tercer pasaje (36) entre la primera porción y la segunda porción. En el estado de fundición se forma la aleación metálica mientras se funde al agregar los elementos de aleación a la segunda porción de la segunda cámara.
