Abstract

Se presentan sistemas y métodos para la interacción de características de protocolo de satélite y de Internet en sistemas de entrega de contenido. Utilizando estos sistemas y métodos, la entrega de algún contenido al mismo producto mediante entrega de satélite, otro contenido mediante la entrega IP, y todavía otro contenido mediante la entrega de satélite e IP, puede mejorar la utilidad tanto del contenido como del producto para el usuario final y además pueden optimizarse los costos y la calidad de los servicios asociados con la entrega del contenido. Se proporciona un método de suministro de contenido y datos a un receptor combinado de red de satélite e IP, que incluye la radiodifusión por medio del satélite del contenido y los datos al receptor, y el envío por medio de una red de comunicaciones de base IP del contenido y los datos al receptor, en donde el contenido y los datos proporcionados a través de la radiodifusión de satélite permite las capacidades del receptor necesarias para consumir el contenido recibido por la entrega IP, y el contenido y los datos proporcionados por medio de la entrega IP permite las capacidades del receptor necesarias para consumir el contenido recibido de la radiodifusión de satélite.
