Abstract

The invention refers to a profile rolling for the development of corrugated rod of steel 1075 with improved physico-mechanical properties, which is produced from railway rails and a steel of 1075 with properties of high hardness, mechanical resistance and high fracture toughness. This profile rolling (first roll) allows the raw material roughing to be performed for starting the process intended to form the corrugated rod, this roll including a reduced transversal area, thus the subsequent rolls being easier to perform the transformation, which results in a lower price and a product with improved properties.

Description

LAMINATE PROFILE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CORRUGATED STEEL ROD 1075 WITH SUPERIOR PHYSICAL - MECHANICAL PROPERTIES.
DESCRIPTION OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is to provide the step of roughing the process for the manufacture of a new steel rebar 1075 able to present physical-mechanical properties superior to the current ones, which will favor the market due to its optimal properties as well as better resistance parameters.
BACKGROUND The rolling process is one that puts a metal under conditions of deformation and temperature to obtain microstructures that improve the mechanical properties of metals, mainly with the refinement of grain improving the strength of the metal, this is done by means of rollers that compress to the metal with which the metal grain lengthens. The main purpose of rolling is to reduce the cross section of a material to obtain a desired thickness.
In this process, two work rolls are used that rotate in the opposite direction compressing the metal, causing the cross section to decrease.
In the design of the rollers it is necessary to contemplate the compression of the metal, as well as the coefficient of friction between the rollers and the work piece, since if the estimation of the elongation and the coefficient of friction is incorrect, the dispersion of material will result in sections with insufficient filling of the ditches of the roller, in addition to lateral fins on the work piece.
The design of the profiles of the rollers in the rolling passes are based on a series of shapes to deform the material and thus change its appearance in the cross-sectional area, some sequences are square-oval-round, square-diamond-square, round -vanced-round, diamond-diamond, among others.
That is why the present invention focuses on the design of the first roll pass, which performs a roughing and enjoys a smaller cross-sectional area so that once the optimum measurements for this first pass are found, the following passes Rolling mills are easier for processing and therefore result in lower cost and a product with better properties.
Patent US 5,720,196 -Hot rolling method of Steel piece joint during continuous Hot-rolling-, granted in 1998, which describes a method to make pieces of continuous hot rolled steel, the method consists in estimating the variation of the rolling force that occurs during the rolling of the articulation of the steel parts in the non-stationary area caused by said joint.
Patent US 6,745,607 B2 -Hot rolling thin strip, granted in 2004, describes a process in which a thin steel strip is passed through a support fastener roll comprising rolls for a hot rolling mill comprising work rolls and the support rollers. Before rolling, the band passes over the support rollers.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES To complement the description of the invention and facilitate the interpretation of its formal, structural and functional characteristics, it is accompanied by figures where we can appreciate the details of the roller with which we will obtain the design of the FIRST step of rolling.
The intervention of the following figures is appreciated.
Figure 1 we appreciate the recielado railway rail (raw material) Figure 2 Lamination profile.
Figure 3 Rail shape in pass one.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The main purpose of the present invention is the development of the first hot rolling pass for the creation of a 1075 Steel rod made with recycled rail rail, said rod with physical-mechanical properties superior to those already commercial.
Said invention starts from the raw material, recycled railway rail (1) with specific properties such as high strength, hardness, good appearance and fracture toughness.
This raw material is discharged to the oven where it is transported by means of rollers, after which the pistons introduce it for heating once it leaves the oven rail, the fungus is separated as well as the so-called skid.
From there, we begin to shape the rail (3) and with that we define the standardized form of our profile number one (2).
