Abstract
La invención se relaciona con un dispositivo para detectar y/o determinar la posición de una capa de barrera contenida en la pared de un material de envase tubular. El dispositivo comprende una fuente infrarroja y un receptor infrarrojo, la fuente y el receptor se colocan para transmitir (recibir, respectivamente), la radiación infrarroja a través de parte de la pared del tubo que contiene una capa de barrera a ser analizada. La invención también se relaciona con un método para detectar y/o determinar la posición de una capa de barrera contenida en la pared de un material de envase tubular 15, el método comprende transmitir la radiación infrarroja a través de una pared del tubo que contiene una capa de barrera, recibir y analizar la radiación infrarroja.
