Abstract

The present invention describes a mechanical chemical method for devulcanizing rubber of useless or waste pneumatics, by means of an organoleptic catalyst never used before in the state-of-the-art, which is easily prepared, handled and acquired, in addition it has a low toxicity level, this process being useful for producing high quality polyisoprene with a good performance. The catalyst provides a considerable performance based on the total weight of the sample. The rubber to be devulcanized in the aforementioned process is a mixture of: natural rubber, synthetic rubber, soot, steel, textile fiber, softeners, oxides and antioxidants.
