Abstract
Un dispositivo para transferir movimiento desde una palanca manual a una palanca de reinicialización de un mecanismo de desconexión por presión en un cortacircuito de caja moldeada. El mecanismo de desconexión por presión se activa cuando se liberan gases calientes durante un evento de arco y el incremento resultante a la presión fuerza a un pistón en el mecanismo para expandirse y activar de este modo el cortacircuito. En algunos eventos de interrupción, los gases calientes y ocasionalmente los fragmentos de metal fundido, son responsables de amarrar la superficie plástica del pistón del mecanismo de conexión por pistón e impedir que el mecanismo regrese a su posición de pre-interrupción aún cuando se desvía a la posición de pre-interrupción con un resorte.
