Abstract

Se describe un método para determinar la saturación de agua libre en un depósito que tiene un pozo de sondeo extendiéndose a través del depósito. El método involucra obtener un primer registro de datos de pozo de sondeo mientras el depósito es sometido a primeras condiciones de fluido, y ocasionar un desplazamiento de agua libre en el depósito al cambiar las condiciones de fluido en el pozo de sondeo para hacer que el depósito sea sometido a las segundas condiciones de fluido, las segundas condiciones de fluido difieren de las primeras condiciones de fluido. El método además involucra obtener un segundo registro de datos de pozo de sondeo bajo las segundas condiciones de fluido, y estimar el desplazamiento de agua libre utilizando los primeros y segundos registros de datos, el desplazamiento de agua libre estimado proporcionando un estimado de la saturación de agua libre en el depósito.
