Abstract

La máquina de acuerdo con la invención, para la esterilización de la capa arable del suelo mediante inyección de vapor de agua sobrecalentada comprende un depósito de agua (5), medios de producción de vapor de agua sobrecalentada y de transporte de este último hacia al menos un conducto de entrega (6); esta máquina se caracteriza porque los medios de producción de vapor de agua sobrecalentada, comprenden: - una unidad de pulverización (8) en relación de comunicación con el depósito de agua, dicha unidad comprende una cámara de pulverización (9) en la cual está colocado un dispositivo de pulverización (10) para ahí formar un aerosol compuesto de finas partículas de agua, - una unidad (11) apta para generar un flujo de aire de transporte, llevado a través de dicha cámara de pulverización (9) para arrastrar fuera de esta cámara el aerosol formado, - una unidad de calentamiento (12) para elevar la temperatura del aerosol de manera que este último sea transformado en vapor.
