Abstract
Un método para controlar tiempos de cambio de configuración se realiza en un dispositivo inalámbrico móvil de comunicación cuando el dispositivo inalámbrico móvil de comunicación se conecta a una red inalámbrica. En una modalidad, el dispositivo inalámbrico móvil se conecta en un primer modo de configuración. El dispositivo inalámbrico móvil de comunicación recibe un mensaje de control de un subsistema de red de radio en la red inalámbrica en un tiempo de recepción local. El mensaje de control recibido incluye una indicación de tiempo para cuándo iniciar un cambio de modo de configuración del dispositivo inalámbrico móvil de comunicación, el cual el dispositivo extrae del mensaje de control. El dispositivo inalámbrico móvil de comunicación se reconfiguras a un segundo modo de configuración, diferente al primer modo de configuración, con base en la indicación de tiempo extraída y el tiempo de recepción local.
