Abstract
La presente invención provee una viga conformada en frío que puede ser usada en una variedad de aplicaciones de construcción. La viga conformada en frío de la invención comprende tres elementos, cada uno de los cuales está formado de chapa metálica: un cordón superior, un cordón inferior y un alma intermedia. Estos tres elementos pueden ser producidos en diferentes dimensiones. El cordón superior comprende, además, un canal receptor abierto hacia abajo adaptado para recibir el borde superior del alma intermedia y dos canales abiertos hacia arriba. El cordón inferior comprende un canal receptor abierto hacia arriba adaptado para recibir el borde inferior del alma intermedia.
